Washington â€" Today the House voted for Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), Title I of Trade Act of 2015 (H.R. 1314) by a vote of 219 to 211. Congressman Ken Buck (R-CO) voted against TPA and released the following statement:

"There is no way I can support ObamaTrade. I believe in free trade, but this President has proven over and over again that he can't be trusted to make decisions that are good for America. He has a history of paying back his special interest friends at the expense of the rest of us. I'm afraid he'll put his global warming, gun control, immigration, and labor agendas into future trade agreements."

Rep. Ken Buck (CO-04) is the Freshman Class President. He serves on the House Judiciary Committee and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. He serves on the OGR Subcommittees on Government Operations and the Interior and is a member of the Judiciary Subcommittees on Immigration and Border Security and Crime, Terrorism, Homeland Security and Investigations.
