Ken Buck Rejects Resolution to Terminate President Trump’s Emergency Declaration

Washington, D.C. – Today, the House of Representatives passed H.J. Res. 46, a resolution to disapprove President Trump’s national emergency declaration to provide much-needed funds to secure our border. Congressman Ken Buck voted against the resolution and issued the following statement:

“I support President Trump’s efforts to curtail drug smuggling, human trafficking, and gang activity by declaring an emergency on our southern border. American families will be safer. Today’s vote was premature,” stated Congressman Ken Buck.
