Ken Buck Sighs At Democrats’ Meaningless Effort
Washington, D.C. – Anti-Semitism is a very real problem in our country that needs to be addressed. That’s why several weeks ago Congressman Ken Buck voted on the House Floor to condemn anti-Semitism. Today, the House of Representatives was presented with another opportunity to condemn the recent anti-Semitic remarks made by a member of the House of Representatives. However, the Democrat leadership watered down the language of the resolution to the point where it was unrecognizable and it failed to address a problem that needed to be confronted. Congressman Ken Buck released the following statement after voting against House Resolution 183 that was nothing more than a political exercise to condemn hate:
“In the history of the world, no group has suffered more insidious hatred than the Jews. Anti-Semitism can’t be compared with any other hate speech without marginalizing the history of Jewish oppression. I will not vote to overlook the anti-Semitism which has been covered up by the Democratic leadership” stated Congressman Buck.
