WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) introduced a congressional record celebrating Douglas County, Colorado, being ranked the second healthiest community in the U.S. by U.S. News and World Report in 2021.

“Douglas County’s 63,000 acres of natural land are home to three state parks, the Reuter-Hess Reservoir, the Devil’s Head National Recreation Trail, and the beautiful Rocky Mountains – all of which enjoy 300 days of sunshine each year. “Douglas County’s rank as the second healthiest county is a testament to the beautiful nature and the quality of life in the community. I am honored to celebrate this well-deserved recognition alongside the residents of Douglas County, Colorado.”
