Rep. Buck Votes "NO" on Union Boss Wish List
March 10, 2021
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Ken Buck (R-Colo.) voted against H.R. 842, the Protecting the Right to Organize Act. This bill overturns right-to-work laws in 27 states, strips independent contractors of their entrepreneurial ability to earn a living, takes away workers’ rights, and gives more power to union bosses.
Rep. Buck made the following statement concerning his objection to H.R. 842:
"Congress cannot allow union-backed politicians seeking to repay campaign favors to dictate labor policy in this country. Unfortunately, the PRO Act does just that, going well beyond simply offering workers the opportunity to organize,” Rep. Ken Buck said. “A pro-worker agenda starts with giving Americans the freedom to earn a living on their own terms, without government intrusion or union harassment.”
